JCT to Study Earth – from Space

President Emeritus of JCT, Prof. Dana-Picard, researchers and students of JCT will study changes to natural vegetation of the earth and Israel’s water cycle via Israeli-French “Venus “observational satellite, as part of a space-related Israeli-French collaboration. The two-year research project, funded by a research grant from the Ministry of Science, will be conducted in the Space Science Lab at JCT. JCT researchers and students will be working in collaboration with scientists of the Aerial Company in France and with the ground support staff of the Venus satellite.
